AI Image to Video Generator: Turn Any Picture into Motion

Article

Synpix lets you animate a single JPG or PNG with short motion prompts. Under the hood, Google Veo renders the frames while we handle uploads, job polling, and gallery saves—so you can focus on picking the right image and motion cues.

Animate one image in a few steps

This quick workflow turns a single frame into a 6-10 second clip without extra editing tools.

  1. Open the Image to Video workspace.

Use the Image to Video tool to view the controls, or jump straight into rendering inside the studio workspace.

  2. Choose a clean source image.

Upload a JPG or PNG under 20MB. Clear subjects, minimal text, and scenes without people work best because the model can focus on motion instead of removing artifacts.

  3. Add an optional motion prompt.

Short camera cues like "slow zoom toward the subject" or "pan left across the skyline" help steer the shot. Leave it blank if you want a gentle default movement.

  4. Pick aspect ratio and duration.

Match the destination: 9:16 for stories, 16:9 for explainers, 1:1 for feed posts. Keep clips tight at 6-10 seconds to showcase the motion without dragging on.

  5. Generate and review.

Start the job and let the page poll in the background. When it is ready, you will see a playable preview plus a saved entry in your gallery.

Source image tips

  • Use high-quality, text-light images so Veo can focus on motion instead of cleaning artifacts.
  • Keep the main subject centered or clearly framed; motion prompts work best when the subject is obvious.
  • Avoid people for now—provider safety rules block images that include faces or bodies.
  • Decide the destination upfront: portrait for Reels/TikTok, landscape for explainers, square for feeds.

Motion prompt ideas

Swap the subject to fit your brand or project. Each prompt assumes a short 6-10 second render.

Product hero (1:1)

"A slow 360-degree reveal of a product on a lit pedestal, soft studio lighting, gentle parallax as the camera orbits."

Landscape sweep (16:9)

"Wide aerial glide across a mountain range at golden hour, subtle camera pan right, light haze and lens bloom."

UI teaser (16:9)

"Laptop on a wooden desk with a colorful dashboard UI, slow push-in and slight tilt, modern soft lighting."

Poster to trailer (9:16)

"Vertical pan that starts on a poster frame and drifts upward to reveal animated light streaks and subtle particle effects."

Keep your workflow tight

  • Batch test 2-3 prompts with the same image to compare motion quickly.
  • Save outputs to the Gallery so you can remix, download, or share links with collaborators.
  • Use the same aspect ratio and duration you plan to publish to avoid cropping later.
